From New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Jennifer L. Armentrout comes a new story in her Wicked series…

As Caden and Brighton's attraction grows despite the odds stacked against a happily ever after, they must work together to stop an Ancient fae from releasing the Queen, who wants nothing more than to see Caden become the evil Prince once feared by fae and mortals alike.

**Every 1001 Dark Nights novella is a standalone story. For new readers, it’s an introduction to an author’s world. And for fans, it’s a bonus book in the author’s series. We hope you'll enjoy each one as much as we do.**

(synopsis taken from Goodreads)

Things are darker and shall I say sexier (hehe) in this new edition to the Wicked Trilogy spinoffs. It picks up right where we're left in The Prince and I am so here for it! Honestly I went into this thinking that this was like a duology spinoff but jokes on us! There's another book coming (thank goodness!) so if you're looking to tie up loose ends just beware that this novella is number two of three.

I really appreciate Brighton as a character. In the Wicked Trilogy I wasn't too invested in her but thanks to these novellas I am now a Brighton fangirl. She's determined to seek her revenge and the way Caden cares for her and is driven by his desire to protect this dangerous girl is something really awesome to see. Also I will say some questions (wink wink) we have are answered finally here and I was so glad it was all finally out. Though, when I think of it, a part of me expects JLA to shock me in the final novella.

If you enjoyed the Wicked books I cannot recommend more continuing to explore this modern world of fae in these novellas. Of course please begin with The Prince if you haven't already!

**I recieved this eArc for honest review
