AUTHOR: Amy A. Bartol
RATING: 5 Stars
SERIES: The Premonition Series, #4
I typically loathe books that drag on, and I will totally shout it from the roof-tops that I hate love triangles. But, Amy Bartol is such a spectacular author that I had to keep reading the Premonition series. Angels? Hot guys? Um yes please! I was won over incredibly easily by the first book in the series, Inescapable.
I love Reed. I am a Reed fan, like all the way. And I fell possibly more in love with him in Incendiary. I’ll admit, throughout the series, I felt like crawling into the pages and strangling Russel. Really, he’s a nice guy and all, but come on! I get the whole soul-mate thing, and it’s sweet, but then there’s this big huge, amazing thing called LOVE. And let me tell you there are plenty of heart-racing swoony moments in Incendiary that will leave readers wanting more! As for Brennus well, I have to say I honestly didn’t like him in the previous title and still can’t find it in my heart in Incendiary (I’m a grudge holder what can I say?).
As always, I will stick by that my favorite side ladies, Buns and Brownie (with names like that, who can’t love them?!) once again remind me why I love them so stinking much. And even Zephyr has grown on me, all that intenseness is kinda…hot! They make the series so much better, which is a pretty rough feat considering that the Premonition series is already amazing.
Amy Bartol stuns in the latest addition to the Premonition Series. New things come into play, more hearts get involved, and things shift and grow more complicated. Incendiary will tie you in knots (the good kind of course) and leave you waiting anxiously for the next installment!
About the Author:
I live in Michigan with my husband and our two sons. My family is very supportive of my writing. When I’m writing, they often bring me the take-out menu so that I can call and order them dinner. They listen patiently when I talk about my characters like they’re real. They rarely roll their eyes when I tell them I’ll only be a second while I finish writing a chapter…and then they take off their coats. They ask me how the story is going when I surface after living for hours in a world of my own making. They have learned to accept my “writing uniform” consisting of a slightly unflattering pink fleece jacket, t-shirt, and black yoga pants. And they smile at my nerdy bookishness whenever I try to explain urban fantasy to them. In short, they get me, so they are perfect and I am blessed.
