From New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Jennifer L. Armentrout comes a new story in her Wicked series…

She’s everything he wants….

Cold. Heartless. Deadly. Whispers of his name alone bring fear to fae and mortals alike. The Prince. There is nothing in the mortal world more dangerous than him. Haunted by a past he couldn’t control, all Caden desires is revenge against those who’d wronged him, trapping him in never-ending nightmare. And there is one person he knows can help him.

She’s everything he can’t have…

Raised within the Order, Brighton Jussier knows just how dangerous the Prince is, reformed or not. She’d seen firsthand what atrocities he could be capable of. The last thing she wants to do is help him, but he leaves her little choice. Forced to work alongside him, she begins to see the man under the bitter ice. Yearning for him feels like the definition of insanity, but there’s no denying the heat in his touch and the wicked promise is his stare.

She’s everything he’ll take….

But there’s someone out there who wants to return the Prince to his former self. A walking, breathing nightmare that is hell bent on destroying the world and everyone close to him. The last thing either of them needs is a distraction, but with the attraction growing between them each now, the one thing he wants more than anything may be the one thing that will be his undoing.

She’s everything he’d die for….

**Every 1001 Dark Nights novella is a standalone story. For new readers, it’s an introduction to an author’s world. And for fans, it’s a bonus book in the author’s series. We hope you'll enjoy each one as much as we do.**

(synopsis taken from Goodreads)

I love the Wicked series. And this book, this wonderful novella, made me so happy. We're back in the hot and mysterious world of the wicked picking up not long after the events of Brave. We get some glimpses of how our fave bad-ass duo Ren and Ivy are and also more Tink which is NEVER a bad thing. I am all for a Tink fan club! We were introduced to "the Prince" in the previous books in the Wicked series but in this novella we are given an all-new view of him and who exactly he truly is. Brighton is also a fantastic heroine I think I enjoy her so much because she's the opposite of Ivy, and both of them are just as awesome as the other. I also just want to say I totally ship this ship :). I think it was such a great thing to see another side of the prince that we didn't see in the previous books and to really explore him and who he is. Pairing off with Brighton in an sort of revenge mission it's so fun to see their slow burn grow. It is a novella but to me I felt like so much was packed into it and Armentrout really took advantage of the story and moving things along quickly due to the smaller size.

If you haven't already read the Wicked trilogy I would recommend reading those first because they're awesome but also so that you avoid spoilers that are in this novella.

If you enjoyed the Wicked books and wanted more (I mean, I think we can all agree after that ending we wanted more) then you will be very very happy with this novella! I also want to note that there will be another novella titled The King that will be coming out and I cannot wait!

**I recieved this eArc for honest review
