History is on repeat…

Seth never thought he’d have a future. But now he’s on the brink of having it all with Josie: A tomorrow. A family. A forever. And all that's standing between him and that forever is the Titans. If he helps Josie entomb them -- without killing them, a nearly impossible task for him -- everything he could ever want will be in reach. But he soon realizes that as a god, every little choice he makes can reshape the world for the better… or worse. And in meddling with the Titans, Seth may have just set into motion catastrophic consequences that will force the Olympians to enter the mortal realm and reshape the delicate balance of power that keeps the world from total collapse.

A price must be paid…

Entombing the Titans is Josie’s top priority. After all, it was what she was born to do. But the plans her father put into play to help her are no longer an option, and the odds she and Seth face in forging their own path are grim. The escalating violence between halfs and pures only increases the danger closing in on them and their friends. Josie knows their chances of succeeding in their task are slim at best -- and if they fail, they might lose everything. But she also knows she's not fighting just for herself -- she's fighting for the man she loves, for their future, for the world. Together with the Army of Awesome, Josie and Seth will face the unthinkable. And to win this war, the ultimate sacrifice must be made.

For the end is here and the Prophecy will be fulfilled….

(synopsis taken from Goodreads)

I'm so sad to see this series ending but I'm also just completely BLOWN away by this book. It's bittersweet to
be saying good-bye to the characters we have spent many books following but please believe me when I say this
is a finale you don't want to miss!

The Prophecy picks right up where The Struggle ended. Josie has finally come into her powers and now there is the
pressure to harness those powers so that when they come head to head with the Titans she's at least got some chance of
survival. There's only one problem: there's not enough demi-gods and Josie is in no state to face the Titans. The Prophecy
is fast-paced and filled with so many emotions I just wanted to reach through the book and hug all of my favorite demi-gods
and gods. Plus for those of us who are Alex and co. fans you will be very happy to know that our favorite crew are all very
muchly involved in this book and back to kicking-butt!

"Are you trying to be my best friend?" Aiden smirked. "I thought we already were best friends."'

One of the absolute best parts of the book for me was the interactions between Seth and Aiden. Seriously, I think I could just
read an entire book about them kick-butt and bro-mancing and bonding. There were so many moments between them in the book
that had me laughing out loud, if you're an Aiden and Sethie should be BFF's supporter - you're in for quite the trip in The Prophecy!

We really see Seth and Josie's relationship continue to grow and strengthen in this book along with Seth searching for his place now that he is more than just an Apollyon. To me this was just the best because I have been a longtime Seth fan and I think we've all waited books for him to find his place and his people. I felt like by the ending of this book that Seth had finally matured into something amazing and had come to turns with his incredible potential, and the same for Josie.

You don't want to miss this epic conclusion to the Titan series by the incredible Jennifer L. Armentrout. Strap in for a roller-coaster ride that will leave you breathless and smiling at the end!
