I remember telling everyone once that if Jennifer L. Armentrout wrote a book about boxes, I would read it. And probably love it. It should come as no surprise then that when I heard about Till Death and how it was being labeled as an adult thriller/suspense, something you may know I tend to avoid reading, I decided I would put my trust in her and I am SO GLAD that I did. This book is not lacking at all in romance and witty banter that has me announcing to everyone that Jennifer is my favorite author!

"Never say never."

Till Death follows survivor Sasha Keaton, the only survivor of the Groom, who is returning home after ten years away, ten years she spent trying to heal and move on from her past. Sasha arrives back to her hometown wanting nothing more than just to follow her dream of running her family's inn the Scarlet Wench and helping out her mother. But, not long after arriving home, things begin happening and Sasha is thrown into a dangerous game once again.

"Being with Cole had made me feel like I was on the edge of a cliff, more than willing to fall off."

Cole Landis is everything I could ever want in a book-boyfriend. He is smart and kind, the perfect amount of gentle that is this beautiful balm to Sasha's tormented soul. It doesn't hurt that he is an FBI agent as well. I fell instantly in love with him and those pale blue eyes and found myself rooting for him and Sasha the entire time. I mourned with them both over the loss of time and what could have been but also celebrated their second chance at something breath-taking and once in a lifetime.

"His kiss...damn, he always kissed like a man who believed he wouldn't get another chance."

This book is already in my top reads of 2017. I'm calling it now. It had me on the edge of my seat, yelling out "Oh no!" and at one point in particular I paused long enough in my reading to randomly announce to my husband that she should not open that door. I'm not a vocal person while reading so for me to have these gut-wrenching reactions was incredible.  This is a book you try to drag out reading because you know when it ends you will miss the characters and want to re-read immediately just to absorb JLA's glorious writing.

Till Death is a pulse-pounding adventure that will take you on a ride unlike any other and have you wondering who the Groom really is and what dark secrets lurk in the most unlikely of places.

Thank you JLA, for this wonderful book, for helping me to see the light when it comes to thrillers. I am so glad that I put my trust in you and you did nothing but go above and beyond my expectations.
